With Emily's background in the film industry, and hearing the incredible stories from adventurers in the store every day, The Nelson Film Festival was born. 2024 was our inaugural year, showcasing talented local (amateur!) filmmakers on epic adventures all across our stunning Nelson Tasman region.

You don't need to be a professional filmmaker, just a passionate storyteller hoping to inspire people to get out and explore the outdoors! With two sell-out screenings last year and epic prizes valued at over $6000 dollars, we can't wait to do it all again in 2025! Come and be part of it!
