KAKAPO PEAK, KAHURANGI NATIONAL PARK
This stunning ridge walk is an awesome day walk option from Fenella hut in the Kahurangi National Park🛖 It takes approximately 2 hours to reach the peak itself. It’s a steady climb to begin and then you’ll find yourself walking along a magnificent ridge line for the remainder of the walk.
Once back at the hut, if you’re brave enough you can enjoy a swim in the tarn overlooking the mountains surrounding!
