LAKE DANIELL TRACK, LEWIS PASS
This gorgeous place to paddle is located 5km east of Springs Junction on the Lewis Pass highway.
Starting at Marble Hill Campsite, it’s a short 8.4km walk to Lake Kohanga Atawhai. There you’ll find Mason Nicholls Hut - a serviced hut with 20 bunks (bookings required). It’s a family and beginner friendly track so a great one to add to the list, if that’s you!
